I'm probably going to spend some time looking at old Tokyo Mew Mew sites, the first anime I ever watched and loved,,, but August isn't here yet so that can wait
I finished watching Trigun '98 with Nik this month & followed it up with the 2023 Stampede remake. I've been looking through
the fansites mostly trying to find some old web banners and ads to add to my collection but have also come across
some really adorable adoptables and webrings. I feel so nostalgic for this anime I had never seen until now.

I finally got around to playing Dramatical Murder, a game I had been hearing about for years
but never dedicated any time to looking into further. At first I was unsure why people often talked about the 'shocking'
things it contained, but as I played through and the stories got darker I understood where all the memes came from. I've also
bought Slow Damage and Sweet Pool by the same developer, Nitro+ Chiral. Hopefully I enjoy them both just as much :)
As with all now discontinued merch and colectibles everything is well beyond my budget, but I'll be adding som figures
to my collections list in the near future.
One of the best things that dmmd brought me to was finding music by GOATBED which I am enamoured by. The whole soundrack for dmmd
is beutiful & I'm on the lookout for any GOATBED CDs I can get hold of!

This month I ordered Higurashi Daybreak for the PSP alongside some other JP only games. Since the PSP is not region locked like many other consoles
it's been a good opportunity to practice reading Hirigana and Katakana. The game is admittedly terrible and the controls are awful.
It's still fun owning this goofy, brightly coloured PSP game based off of the horrific story Higurashi tells. The official Higurashi website has
been fun to browse through across different time frames that it's been crawled by the Internet Archive. There's consistently been new ad banners for
the different iterations of the franchise that I've been eating up the aesthetics of.

I finished watching all of Dragon Ball Z Kai with Nik and we've almost caught up with DB Super as well!
This all began with DBZ Abridged that Leeli had me watch & it's been very strange and funny going from
fan content being my introduction to watching the actual show. I did try to watch DBZ (no Kai) but the filler
is insanely long in the beginning, even x2 speed wasn't getting me through that painlessly.
Of course the web archive is FILLED with fansites I've been able to browse to my heart's content. There's A LOT of
Vegeta fansites, as there should be.
